GODS UNCHAINED · FEATURE INTRODUCTION
Open It When You're Ready
For the first time in Gods Unchained's history, buying a pack and opening a pack are two different moments — and starting with Reckoning on October 13, that choice is entirely yours.

What's Different
Buy a Booster, Premium, Shiny, or Mega Shiny pack and it lands in your wallet sealed — yours to keep, trade, sell, or crack open the second you feel like it. Nothing is decided until you actually open the pack. That means a sealed, unopened pack is now something real in its own right, not just a placeholder for whatever's inside.
How It Works
Buying feels exactly like it always has — same store, same checkout. The one new step: the first time you open a pack, your wallet asks for a quick one-time approval. After that, it never asks again — opening just works.
And if something hiccups mid-open, you keep your pack. Nothing's lost. Just try again.
Why This Is Worth Having
This changes what a pack actually is. Hold it, trade it, or hand it to another Mortal entirely — all before a single card inside it has been decided. And because packs don't have to be opened right away, the variants tucked into Reckoning stay discoverable for as long as packs remain unopened, not just during the sale window. The chase keeps going long after sales end.

What This Doesn't Cover Yet
Right now, NFT packs are just for Reckoning — nothing else yet.
Genesis and Trial of the Gods chests are a separate thing — the team's working on those after Reckoning ships.
Reckoning launches October 13 — packs and all, for the first time ever. See you in the arena, Mortals.
